I have tried not writing songs - it never ends well. It is the only thing I like doing and sort of have a knack for. I try to get better every day. I have lived in Massachusetts my whole life, and enjoy the characters and going-on’s around me. I love turning them into stories. Sometimes I don’t even have to exaggerate much. I have a friend I who’s advice I take seriously, and she said I should have a bio. I don’t really know what else to put here except life is too short to get to work on time, and time is too precious to lose.
Love,
Conor
Seagull Songs
Seagull Songs has finally arrived, dirty feathers and all. The album is a collection of stories and people of the north of Salem, Beverly and even Williamstown, Massachusetts [Kenny with a K]. Paul and I met a year ago and have been playing as much as we can whenever possible. He’s as crazy as me, which helps. We have turned into the type of folks that perform 4-5 nights a week for essentially no pay while laughing. If you are from, currently live in, or are even remotely familiar with Massachusetts, my hope is you find the 10 song album a hoot. I am so grateful to have songwriting heroes who wrote as themselves and the things that went on around them. I hope to someday be counted among them as a good example of what American folk music is. In the meantime, thank you for reading, and hopefully listening. Hope all is well with ya!
